Notes
BitValve connects buyers and sellers through offers and holds cryptocurrency in platform escrow until the fiat or crypto payment is confirmed. Registration creates built-in custodial wallets. The current public platform feed lists BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT and BTV, 200 payment methods in seven categories, and 170 fiat currencies; the public marketplace pages market more than 300 payment methods.
BitValve public marketplace pages state that users can buy or sell without platform verification up to USD 1,000 per year. The Terms of Service also reserve identity verification for creating offers, volume thresholds, disputes, fraud investigations, account ownership checks and full use of the custodial wallet, so the public threshold is not a guarantee that verification will never be requested.
The current Terms say trading and wallet fees follow the platform price list and that the offer owner pays the marketplace commission. The older official Bitcointalk service thread advertised 0.50% crypto-to-fiat and 0.20% crypto-to-crypto; verify the live price before trading. The Privacy Policy identifies the current operator as 3-102-966440 S.R.L. in Costa Rica. Support is available through the official support page, email, Discord, X, Telegram and Facebook. No official onion service was found on the operator pages.
